The Piston Cup

After watching Disney's Cars, one of my siblings asked me if I could render the Piston Cup. Here is the answer to that request, entirely made in Blender!

This animation reveals a couple of artifacts, but I learned a ton, and am now better prepared for the next project!

The reference image I used, taken from Pixar's movie Cars. As you can see, I didn't perfectly re-create it, but I was satisfied.
